Over the last few months, we’ve been working with Karina K Studio to design a modern and contemporary design for our optometry office. We are planning on having an optical in the front with two exam rooms, large pretest area with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, and a designated contact lens area. We have submitted our plans for approval to the city and can’t wait to get started once approved!
We are also in the process of credentialing for both vision and medical insurance companies. Vision plans can be used for annual wellness visits as well for discounts on glasses or contact lenses. Medical Insurance (Same one that you use when you visit your regular doctor) can be used for eye emergencies such as eye infection (pink eye), eye pain, eyelid stye. Medical insurance is also used to monitor chronic eye conditions as dry eyes, cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic eye exams.
